NEW FOR AUTUMN 2021!
The SIAMS inspection framework recognises the importance of curriculum planning which gives students the opportunity to explore the ethical and spiritual dimensions of all subjects, including science. In light of this, God and the Big Bang has developed a series of one-hour online CPD courses to give science teachers the confidence and ability to encourage students to discover and discuss big questions that occur during their learning.
Highlighting the key areas of the science curriculum where science and religion collide, the courses equip teachers with the tools they need to respond to big philosophical and ethical questions and lead a class discussion. The courses are interactive, giving teachers space to share experiences and concerns and ask questions personal to their own context.
Courses last one hour after school and will be provided through Zoom. Places on a course are £50, including resources to put the ideas shared into practice.
